The International Bodrum Yacht Show idea has been created by meltem ozer whom is the president of tbyc turgutreis bodrum yacht club. The idea came up her mind in the world womens day in that she has thought to organise a special event for the memory of this day. International womens day that the idea was introduced for the first time by tbyc and the international sailing cup a first in its category, came to life with the main sponsorship of turgutreis municipality, our sister club supports and many other friend. it was first time that we are organised this cup but even the first year we had already 17 boats and 170 sailors registered and the cup directed and fallowed by international referees and jury. We believe that the women racers and fallowers of the cup , will be coming to turgutreis, bodrum turkey in increasing numbers every year
